For starters, I didn't finish White Rock but I did finish the scene I had been procrastinating. And I liked the way it ended. Then I promptly went back to procrastinating some more. In the #poettues discussion on Twitter this week, there was a question about how to get around blocks, and my comment was that I don't believe in writer's blocks, but I believe in my own laziness and lack of ability to prioritize writing above other things. Which is where I am now. In addition, wallowing in the self-doubt that comes along with my writing procrastination has its own snowball effect on my productivity levels. We will see if any of that changes. I can only hope.
Second, somehow I missed the entire month of February, which was the fund drive for I Should Be Writing, Mur Lafferty's podcast that should be kicking me in the head every time I stall out on writing (though my subconscious laziness has been more powerful than Mighty Mur's words lately). Anyway, I showed up late to the party and made a donation, but I would recommend if you don't listen to it, that you do, and if you like it, that you drop a few bucks in the Paypal donation drop box.
And now, while I'm off to figure out what I am going to do prose-wise in the somewhat near future, I have a question or challenge for anyone deciding to read this little blog: Tell me what I should write a poem about. It was suggested to me by a Twitterer (is that a word) that this is a good way to interact with people and to motivate myself to write and have a direct feedback loop and all that fun stuff, so I'm curious - anything you think I should write about?
Cheers!

How about war, or a huge friggin' disaster like Japan?
