Next Revision Steps

Not a lot to write this week.  I managed to finish my novel outline/synopsis on the plane ride back, and started a list of characters on another page, and a list of big things to fix.  However, now I'm wondering where to go next.

Obviously I need to look for major structural changes first. That said, I'll be looking for where/how to add subplots, figure out what worthless characters are there, figure out how to draw a little more depth to the world.  I have some ideas, but I need more.  Then the next plan is to figure out how to write in some of these major changes without screwing up what else is there.  That should be fun.

While I figure this out, I also have to potentially figure out what to write for an article, and I got an email this morning reminding me that I have seven days for the next submission cycle on a poetry journal.  Revision is all around.
