Obligatory post about a worthwhile ongoing endeavor

I've been reading Robert Lee Brewer's blog for a while (he's the editor of various things for Writer's Digest Publications including Poet's Market and others), and he's set a bunch of people on a very interesting journey: a sort of "build a platform in 30 days" adventure.  So I'm trying to play catch up and do the 30 tasks.  We will see how well it goes.  But for now, you can follow along with his tips over at My Name Is Not Bob.

And the Kingfisher to the right has nothing to do with this post.  But it did catch a fish!
