So, I started the blog as a journal about my writing (or not writing, as the case may be), and then it evolved into a weird preachy "this is how to write" set of posts for a while, even though I honestly have no clue "how to write" and now I am trying to devolve it back into more my talking about what I am up to and my experiences. It's just an outlet for what I call meta-writing, I guess... writing about writing, but I am working on the tone to make sure it doesn't appear that I am writing about experience I don't have or something.
For now, it just keeps me moving along and generating something on a relatively regular basis.
It also makes me learn that the correct expression for the title of this post is "Taking a different tack" instead of "tact" since it is apparently a nautical expression.
