Monday Update

Well, so I slacked some last week. Got to get back on the ball now, so I cranked out 260 words and hit the 1000 mark. So I've got about 100 times that much and I'll have a first draft. Yay.

Anyway, 1K, 5K, 10K, 25K, 50K, Finish - they're all milestones. Some are just more effort to reach than others.

I think if I can do 100K words that should give me enough material to pare it down to 70-80K and tighten it up, so that's pretty much my goal for this one. Better than trying to streeeetch one of my Nanowrimo novels out from the 55K to 70-80K without adding fluff. On those, I most likely need to streeeeeeeetch them out to 100K+ and then whittle them back down. Oh if only I had unlimited time.
