Oh, and it's summer. So, while I will be most certainly wasting some time in front of the television watching my favorite summer series (White Collar, The Glades, Burn Notice, True Blood), in general, television consumption will drop, since most shows are on hiatus.
Oh, and school is out. Which means I spend approximately ten to fifteen minutes less time in traffic heading to and from work on a daily basis. The joy, the joy!
So, what exactly will I do with all this free time*? Who knows, probably waste it. But I could use it wisely. We will see. Most likely it will depend on whether or not I can draw out some sort of map and game plan for where I am going (see, I brought in the map metaphor from the wikimedia photo of the day above). I have one project for sure that I need to work on with a deadline a couple of weeks out. And then there's some poetry that needs submitting. And, of course, there's my trunk full of unrevised novels to tackle (we'll see). Time to chart out the course that I need to take (more map metaphor).
Do you have any way to find new free time? And what will you do with it? What's your compass? Where will your map lead you?
*The use of the phrase "free time" should not in any way be interpreted to mean that free time actually exists.
