Inspired by this article on using mind mapping to create a novel, I've created a template for brainstorming novel ideas. So, a few things to note about this template. First, you'll need FreeMind to open it. Don't worry, it's FREE. You can get it here. Second, if you want to understand the outlines I've done for plot, you can read the details in this article (that even breaks the word counts out for you). And finally, for characters, you'll find I have pre-set it up with Dramatica's archetypal characters. I think this is a great set for building a well-rounded book, or at least starting off with a good base set of characters.

Is there a version that is compatible with the newer versions of Free mind? I like your work and was so looking forward to using this!
